Commission Meetings

All meetings are conducted in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act and are open to the public.

Public meetings are held to provide citizens an opportunity to present testimony and comments on the salary proposal being considered.  These meetings are held in cities around the state to provide citizen access to the decision-making process.  State law requires that we hold no fewer than four public meetings.

We encourage and welcome your attendance at our meetings. If you wish to comment but cannot attend a meeting, click on Contact Us for information about how to inform us of your views.

Meeting Schedules

We conduct our salary setting business in the odd-numbered year. The next session will begin in January 2009.

The public meetings for our 2009 salary setting session will be set in November 2008.

If you would like to receive notices of the 2008 and 2009 meetings, please join our e-mail list.  If you do not have an e-mail address, please contact us.
